About the Home
Our charmingly furnished two bedroom, one and one half bath house with traditional Hawaiiana decor provides all the comforts of home in the world's most spectacular setting on Kauai, the 'Garden Island' of Hawaii. You will seldom need your car after arriving as charming Hanalei village is within walking distance with its excellent restaurants, lively night spots and shopping. Only a block and a half away is the world famous, crescent-shaped Hanalei Bay, ranked by National Geographic Traveler as one of the top ten beaches in the world. Hanalei can only be reached over a quaint one lane bridge and is never overwhelmed by tourists. It is the home of many celebrities and famous writers and is noted for its amazing scenery and lush vegetation.
The house is strictly limited to four guests of any age. Babies and small children are not exempt, sorry.
We have a California King bed in one bedroom and a king in the other which can be divided into extra long twin beds for an additional charge of $100.00 plus tax.
We accept reservations fourteen months in advance for the off season and one year in advance for summer.
The adjacent property has begun construction on a home. We want to make sure that there aren’t any surprises when you arrive. So far, none of our guests have found the construction to be a nuisance. The contractor for the project has stated that working hours are limited to weekdays no earlier than 7:30 a.m. until about 3:30 p.m. No construction will take place on weekends. Hopefully you’ll be at the beach, on excursions and enjoying this beautiful island during construction times.
